Why My Marriage Almost Didn’t Happen

My Marriage Almost Didn’t Happen

by Tony Bianchino, owner Out Run Your Fork Personal Training and Nutrition in Westfield, NJ

There are a lot of things that stop us from doing things we really ought to do.

For me, one of those things was getting married.

Now, I am NOT one of those “cold feet” kind of guys. I mean, I was a bodybuilder who stood on stage in a skimpy bikini (I know, I know… that image is in your head forever… sorry)!. I was a personal trainer and nutritionist who knew how to make decisions right away.

I was certain that I wanted to marry my wife, … I was just waiting to save up some money first.

Month after month I tried to save up the money for the right engagement ring, but I never seemed to make any headway.

The Turning Point

Then, one morning I was listening to the local radio show and one of the most famous DJ’s was live on the air with a caller.

And wouldn’t you know it, the caller had the same situation as me! He was trying to save for an engagement ring, but couldn’t quite get there.

What the DJ said next was seared into my mind for the rest of my life. I’ve used this as my mantra for every decision I’ve made in my life ever since.

Here’s what he said,

“What are you waiting for? You’re going to waste your life and not get married because you’re waiting to save up some money? You’re never going to save up the money. Just go ahead and do it!”

That was my “A-Ha” moment.

That very same day I called my jeweler and asked him to make my ring.

Six months later I proposed and the rest is history!

Your Turning Point

Many people do this very same thing when it comes to their health.

“I’ll get to the gym after I get settled at work”
“I’ll get to the gym after the kids go back to school”
“I’ll start my diet after Labor Day”

And so it goes…

If you’re waiting to take back your health, then there’s never going to be the right time. There is only thistime. Right now.

So, are you going to just wait and waste the best years of your life, or are you just going to get it done?

As that famous DJ said, “Just go ahead and do it!”

If you want to get it together in September, then get more information on how to get started with us and I’ll get back to you, personally, right away.
